The Lewisboro Senior Adult Program trips are cancelled for 2020. Wednesday meetings will be held at the Onatru pavillion on August 26th and during the month of September.
We are offering occasional meetings with fellow seniors via Zoom. Follow our monthly newsletter for updates. Available resources include masks for Lewisboro residents, volunteer shoppers for seniors through Ride Connect Program and meals on wheels for those homebound.
Please call the Park & Recreation Office at 232-6162 for assistance or additional information.
MEDICARE INFORMATION AND HELPFUL RESOURCES
Call the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services' Medicare Information Line at (914) 813-6100 for help with Medicare issues, including Medicare parts A, B, C and D, Medigap insurance, cost-sharing, preventive benefits and appeals. You can also ask about New York State's Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC); it helps eligible seniors pay prescription drug costs.
The Department of Senior Programs and Services also offers Medicare information workshops; check its events calendar at the link below for dates and times.

INTERNET BASICS FOR SENIORS
Hello & Happy December,
Well we are really being challenged with this COVID pandemic!
Due to the recent rise in numbers, the seniors will not be meeting at the South Salem Firehouse until further notice. It has been such a treat for some of us to gather outside at Onatru over the summer and we were able to meet twice during the month of November at the firehouse.
Although we have been very cautious, wearing masks and keeping our distance from one another, the risks are too great. I will be in touch if our status changes and please do not hesitate to call the Park & Recreation office if you need additional information or assistance
