We are currently hiring for camp & pool summer positions!

Please note: By the start of the season, you must be at least 15 years old to be come a lifeguard and 16 years old to become a camp counselor. We are no longer hiring CITs for camp.

The regular camp season runs from Monday, June 29th - Friday, August 7th. Camp staff must be available all 6 weeks as well as for staff orientation (TBD in June).

Open positions for camp:

Counselors (16+), head counselors (18+), variety show/music specialist at Little Explorers (18+), sports specialist at Main Event (18+), and more to come!

Open positions for pool:

Lifeguards (15+), gate attendants (18+), and pool/park maintenance workers (18+).

Step 3: Obtain a work card (under 18).

We do not have the ability to issue work cards. Please visit Linda Binns at the main office of John Jay High School to apply for and obtain a work card. We need a copy of the physical blue or green work card that you are issued.
