Happy New Year! We hope this finds you staying safe and healthy.  February is drawing near, and soon we will be bringing back our Teen Trek Camp Registration. Traditionally, registration occurred on one day and in person, but in 2020 we opted for an easier process for all potential registrants, an online registration or in person.  This year, registration for all Town and School District residents will again take place online and in person starting on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, at 10:00am.  Please review the office hours below, if you would like to register your child in person for the Teen Treks Camp program at the Parks & Recreation Office.


Saturday, February 4th from 10:00am -12:00pm

Monday, February 6th – Friday, February 10th from 9:00am – 5:00pm

Evening hours on Thursday, February 9th from 5:00 – 7:30pm

Special appointments are possible outside these office hours

**Non-residents may register for any available spots on Monday, February 13th**


Attached is the necessary paperwork which is needed to secure your child’s registration along with a copy of your child’s immunizations.  If you are registering online, please either scan these documents and email them to, fax them to (914)232-6165 or drop off/mail them to our office.  The address of our office can be found on the home page.  If you are registering in person – please have copies with you when you arrive.  The office staff will contact you if your file is missing any documents, and you will be given a submission deadline of Friday, February 24th. Please note: Failure to submit documents will result in the cancellation of your registration.  Space for this program is limited so please act fast and be diligent.


Like the 2022 camp season, we will have COVID precautions in place, as well as procedures we will all have to follow if an outbreak does occur at camp.  Any changes that differ from last year will be forthcoming when released by the Westchester County Health Department.   The town needs to start planning trips, transportation and staffing so that is why we are holding registration now.


The upcoming camp season will tentatively run from Monday, June 26th to Friday, August 4th. The department will offer two programs; two 5-day programs (Monday – Friday) and one 3-day program (Tuesday – Thursday) and each of these programs will have a maximum number of 48 campers.  The 5-day program will go on trips to local facilities (bowling, local tours, arcades, etc.) on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday, all campers will travel to the traditional larger trips (amusement parks, tours, baseball games).


Prices for the 2023 Camp Season will be:


Teen Treks 3 Day:

$1,600.00 – Residents

$1,900.00 – School District and non-residents


Teen Treks 5 Day:

$2,100.00 – Residents

$2,400.00 – School District and non-residents


**Please remember there is a 3% service fee for using a credit card online or in person**


This camp is for the mature, responsible teen.  All campers must know how to swim in order to attend any trips with water involved and will be given a swim test during the first day of camp to determine eligibility on water trips.  If your camper won’t be there that day, then you will need to make arrangements with the pool director or aquatics director to get your child tested in June leading up to the camp season.  On some trips, teens will have the opportunity to go off in small groups and will have regular check in times scheduled throughout the day.  Abuse of this privilege can result in suspension from camp without a credit or refund.


Transportation is provided at no extra cost from specific locations within Lewisboro/Katonah (see registration form for locations).  We highly encourage, but do not require, you to register for bus transportation. If you need transportation, you MUST register for it.


Please bring to registration:

1) Payment (we accept credit cards, cash or checks payable to Town of Lewisboro)

2) Attached forms (registration form, permission slip and behavioral policy - print & sign by both parent and child)

 3) official copy of immunization record from your child’s physician. 


Again, all registration will only be fully processed when all forms are completed, and the correct payment is received – NO EXCEPTIONS! 

Please note that you must have an account with us prior to registration day. We will not be creating accounts the day of registration. We can also not guarantee that your account will be created 3 days prior to registration. 


Refunds:  Full refunds will be granted to all participants if we must cancel the camp due to the COVID pandemic.  For refund/credit requests asked for by the registered participant’s family for either Teen Treks program, it will only be approved if there is a wait list and your child can be replaced and with the following stipulations:  The Town will grant a full refund if a replacement camper can be found minus a $20 processing fee if the refund request is made before Friday, April 28th, 2023.  A partial refund of 50% of the camp cost will be granted after Friday, April 28th, 2023.
